Appointments

  • How long does an appointment last?

    A K LINE Field Consultant will spend approximately 30 minutes with you to review our products, take initial measurements, make suggestions, and answer any questions you may have. 

  • Why is an appointment even necessary?

    It is important for our Field Consultant to review your current configuration so they can make appropriate recommendations that will enhance your home and educate you on the various options available.  Since each window/door will be custom made for your home, we need to take measurements to be able to provide you with a no hidden fee estimate.

  • Who should be at the appointment?

    We request the homeowner be present for the appointment.  Our Field Consultant needs to understand your preferences, requirements, and budget to discuss the various options to provide an accurate no hidden fee estimate. 

  • Is the estimate free?

    Yes, all estimates are free of charge.

  • Do your windows meet Miami Dade NOA and Florida Product Approval?

    All of our impact windows and doors are Miami-Dade Tested and Approved (Miami Dade NOA) and/or meet all Florida Product Approvals (FPA). Our products can be installed in any home, anywhere in the country and exceed all Florida Hurricane Impact Building Codes.

  • Are your products energy-efficient?

    All our products surpass industry standards in energy efficiency and structural performance.  Maximum energy-efficiency can be achieved with LowE and insulated options.

  • What kind of doors do you provide?

    All of our doors provide beauty, security, maximum strength, and energy efficiency. Our entry doors give you the impact-resistant features you are looking for, with a wide variety of options in order to customize the appearance of your chosen door in order to reflect your and your home's unique style.

  • Do you offer both aluminum and vinyl (UPVC) windows?

    • Yes, we offer the highest quality aluminum and vinyl (UPVC) windows on the market.  Our Field Consultant will work with you to determine the best windows and doors options for your home based on your requirements.
    • As we carry both aluminum and vinyl windows and doors, we do not push one over the other and can simply explain pros and cons.

Payment/Financing Option

  • What financing or payment options are available?

    • We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, online check services, wire transfers, Venmo & Zelle payments.
    • We offer financing through Launch Credit Union
    • We are an approved Y Green Partner. Through their PACE program 
    • Approved contractor for the My Florida Safe Home program
    • Offer financial consulting/planning services through one of our approved Financial Planning Services.
    • A K LINE Field Consultant will be glad to review all our options with you.

The Process

  • After the agreement and paperwork are complete, what happens next?

    • After your contract is signed, a detailed measurement appointment will be scheduled, and a trained field technician will come out and take an exact final measurement of your windows and/or doors. 
    • The final measurement will be used to place your order with the manufacturer.
    • Our Office Management Team will work directly with you and our engineering department to submit permit applications.
    • Once your order is delivered to our warehouse and we have received your permit from the applicable building department, an installation date will be coordinated with you and scheduled.
    • Installation time will vary depending on the scope of the work but will be discussed at scheduling.
    • After the installation is complete, a final inspection will be completed by your local building department. 
    • After the inspection, we finalize any outstanding items such as screw covers if applicable and leave you with new beautifully installed Hurricane Impact Windows & Doors.
